PREPARING FOR THE REGENTS EARTH SCIENCE PERFORMANCE TEST

The New York State Education Department (NYSED) has again postponed introduction of a new version of the "Part D" performance test administered as part of the Physical Setting/Earth Science examination. However, you can find information about the proposed changes and the necessary materials at http://www.emsc.nysed.gov/osa/scire/es-partd406.pdf.

To help prepare for the new version, STANYS Earth Science Subject Area Representatives have created sets of "parallel tasks" which provide assistance in mastering many of the skills that will be necessary when taking the actual test.
