Concrete Poems

A type of poem that takes the shape of the subject; it can be made up of words or phrases

Take a look at the Happy Face concrete poem in the corner.  All the words have something to do with a happy face.  Pay close attention to the eye and the mouth.  The words/phrases used there relate specifically to the eyes (winking, blinking, looking at my love) and mouth (a way to show I am pleased).

Try your own!

Write the words and phrases that remind you of a volcano along the outline of the pictures.
